Mary E. Corbet

November 3, 1954 - March 3, 2015

Mary E. Corbet, age 60, of DeForest, WI, passed away on March 3, 2015.  Mary is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Rita Corbet.

She is survived by her son: Jacob Corbet of Madison, WI; sisters: Kathleen (Terry) Ward of Demotte, IN, Eileen Corbet of Silver Spring, MD; brothers: Patrick Corbet of Carol Stream, IL, Michael Corbet of Cape Coral, FL and James Corbet of Orland Park, IL; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary worked for years at the Illinois State Penitentiary in Joliet, IL in administrative support. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was active within her church and sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed cross-stitching, her cats, John Wayne movies and collecting key chains. She was also very fond of music and singing.

A private service was held in Madison at her Church.

Family Service For Mary

May 22, 2015

At Jim's, we had a memorial service for Mary. It was me and Terry, Eileen, Carrie, Cherie, Chris, Anna, Pat, Brian, Alissa, Bridget, Layla, Jim, Sue, Kyle, Aunt Mary Lou, Trisha, Lana, and Coleen.

It was a very nice service. Pat lead with prayers, we told nice stories about Mary and then Pat ended with more prayers.

Then we had dinner and more talk about Mary.

It was very comforting.
